It means "moms" didn't have to work - now they do! Why? Because of everything that is in the above post.

I would like to say I like you view but one of your statements is not true. We have been a debtor nation for a long time way over a hundred years except for one time in the 1800s when some guy who was rich paid us out of debt. This is a historical fact that you can look up at your local library that is how I found it. I would also like to point out a hundred years ago women could not vote. Just because we did not have it then does not mean it was better. Some of these taxes are necessary to protect us or educate our youth even if it is being done poorly it is still necessary. Where do you think the money comes form to make the bombs that protects our freedom?

I value all of the information presented here, However I would be remiss not to point out that the America of 100 Years ago was significantly different then today. The population in 1907 was 87,008,000 compared with today's 303,824,640. Both the GDP and the standard of living has increased tremendously during this time.

Based on the outcome of the recent presidential election, It would seem that a majority of the people prefer this version of America. In the current system and under the incoming president, Big Government will only grow. Wasteful spending of our tax dollars is not acceptable,

We should all recognize that there are big problems in this country which require Bold solutions. Trying to return to an America of 100 Years ago is not a viable solution.

Great post! It really is ridiculous once you break it down this way. But, what does Mom staying home to raise the kids have to do with anything?
